One Day Jerome, AZ Itinerary with Kids
Cathedral Rock Trail in Sedona

This old mining ghost town is now an artsy, historical gem located about 20 minutes from Cottonwood , AZ and 45 minutes from Sedona. We highly recommend you visit as a side trip to Sedona.

⛏Jerome State Historic Park- Learn about the copper mine and the towns history.

🪨Audrey Headframe Park: Stand on the glass and look down into the dark abyss of an old mine shaft. It is 1900 feet deep!

🌈Nellie Bly: Our favorite store in Jerome! Be sure to stop and explore all of the antique treasures, unique art pieces and kaleidoscopes! We spent a long time here.

👟Self Guided Walking History Tour: As you walk around town, stop and read the signs on the buildings. You will get a feel for this Wild West mining history… full of brothels, jails, and bars.

🎨Explore the art galleries: We loved exploring the gorgeous art sculptures, paintings, and various creations at the galleries. Be careful with little ones, some of the pieces are pretty pricey!

🍔Haunted Hamburger: Eat lunch at the haunted hamburger. We recommend getting on the waitlist and taking the kids down the stairs to the little park to play. They will call you when your table is ready. This historic building has beautiful views of the valley.

🍭Rickeldoris Candy & Popcorn Co: you won’t miss the colorful sign out front. If you have kids, or a sweet tooth yourself…you might want to stop in here for a treat.
