We have traveled the USA and Mexico in our RV for over 6 years now!

OUR PAST LIFE:
🐄We both grew up in Southern IL, in a suburb of STL
✈️Luke was in the air force before we married.
👫We got married in 2007 (ages 24/23)
🦋I (Mel) was a school social worker
👷♂️Luke worked 8-5 as a safety manager
🏠We were house poor, owned a 4K sq foot home and too much stuff.
📚Unschooling our kids gave us the courage to move into an RV in 2016
SOME CHALLENGES WE HAVE FACED:
•Mel being a single mama age 19-23
•Financial Struggles
•Parenting Kids with Special Needs
•Job Loss and career changes
•My never-ending pregnancy/nursing stage
•More RV and Truck Issues than we can count
•Some Mental Health/ Depression Issues
•Death of loved ones
OUR FAVORITE THINGS ABOUT RV LIFE:
🚎💨Our home has wheels, so we are able to thoroughly explore our country by land
🏔The challenges of this lifestyle have given us many opportunities for personal growth
🏕Our ever changing backyard
🌎The hands on travel education we can give our kids.
🍂The opportunity for endless immersion in nature.

We realize what a beautiful privilege this one life is and hope to inspire other families to experience all that life has to offer and live life on their terms. We hope to encourage families to get out in nature together, prioritize freedom in all areas of your life, and travel more together.
