Adventure in Medora, North Dakota with Kids

🦬Drive the loop road in Theodore Roosevelt National Park to view wildlife and take in all the overlooks. This park is bike-able and offers ranger programs. Look for wild ponies, bighorn sheep and bison!

👙Take the kids swimming and float the lazy river. Cost is $15 pp, but we advise you after 4pm when it’s only $10.

🤐 Enjoy the free zipline, splash pad, & bouncy pillow at Point to Point park

🍽 Eat a sunset steak dinner at Pitchfork Fondue and enjoy the Medora Musical afterwards. Dinner is $35 pp and the show is $45. Kids are free on a Sunday’s for both!

🛝The kids loved the playground in town.

🏕 Camp at Scoria Pit Dispersed Campsite for the most stunning views in North Dakota. We added this because families are often looking for affordable options and this is completely FREE!

This town is tiny, but overflowing with character. We found tons of places to eat, a good coffee shop and delicious ice cream. You will need to stop for groceries before heading to Medora as there are no large grocery stores, which adds to its quaint vibe.
